Bright Bloom
This caught my eye as I was doing some weeding at the other end of the garden. It was hard to miss even low down behind some shrubs. I’m told it’s a pelargonium with a double flower which is rare.
Hero Shot
A close up of a product, the hero shot, a nice Bosch cordless screwdriver set complete with accessories. It took some time to get the wildlife to pose like that.
Depth of Field
An experiment in depth of field, focussing on the foreground. Close-ups are often rendered with a narrow depth of field to place the focus squarely on the subject.
Orchid
This is a closeup of an orchid from the garden. Strange plants these, give them loving care and attention and they are just leaves, ignore them for a while and they will present you with this beauty.
All Aboard
It’s all in the angle and framing, my model train set out on the garden table. It’s been a while since I have had it set up, must do it again soon to have a play with it. All aboard. The photo was taken with an iPhone 3G.
