In the Central Victorian district of Kooroocheang, Lefranchi’s Hut, is part of the Heritage Bush walk. I’m planning a return trip in spring as I’m told the area is then flooded by daffodils, bluebells and other flora.
As picturesque as it appears from the outside, the inside has little in the way of comforts, certainly no more than a good tent.
A large open area is ideal for campsites and a few walking tracks are available, some cross a small stream to a steep hillside for the energetic.
